The area enjoys a mild maritime climate with miles of clean, beautiful sandy beaches, a 680 acre fresh water lake and rivers to the north and south. Gorgeous scenery and natural amenities abound for residents and visitors alike. Primarily a resort, tourist and retirement community, Lincoln City offers a variety of activities which include golfing, hiking, beachcombing, shopping, gaming, and fine dining.

Bordered by the Pacific Ocean to the west and the Coastal Range to the east, Lincoln City is located on the Central Oregon Coast and is situated 11 feet above sea level. Because it's only about a two hour's drive to Portland, and a one hour's drive to Salem, this area is accessible to the amenities and cultural activities found in those larger cities.
