Specs: these holders will work for
most of our shaving brushes
except some metal handles, especially straight handle designs.
From the top of the base to the top
of the holder is 2 1/2".For razors, those with bulbous bases will not
fit as the diameter of the razor's handle needs to be one-half inch or less
for holder #mno-brh above, therefore please
take this into consideration when using with your own razor. Feel free to

Nickel and
brass holders in three sizes - regular, large and
extra large. Most brushes take the regular holders. However for larger
handles or longer bristles the large size may be a better fit. While we
have yet to see a brush large enough to fit in the extra large
holder, maybe somewhere out there is a brush in need of its giant opening.

From the top of the base to the top of the holder is 3". Holder
opening estimates are: Normal is 1" flaring out to a little more than one inch, large is 1 3/16"
flaring out to 1 1/4" and the extra large is 1 1/4" flaring out to 1 1/2".

Specs:
These stands will work for most of the shaving
brushes and razors. The brush opening is 1" (25 mm) and the razor
holder opening is just over 7/16" (12 mm). The height from the top of the base to the brush/razor holder
fork is approx. 4 1/2 " for the chrome stand and 4 1/4" for the brass stand.
These stands will work with the metal straight handle brushes we carry which
do not work with other holders. (NOTE:
If you have a Merkur brand double edge razor you can view how to
hang the larger Futur and Vision models on the
Merkur page. The other models can hang
with the handle facing down by holding just under the razor head.)
