Note about body care products:   Em's Place caters to sensitive skin and only distributes products that have been carefully thought out to maximize consumer benefits, safety and affordability while minimizing unnecessary preservatives, additives and chemical binders. Synthetic fragrance and certain kinds of colorants have been found to be irritating to the skin. People who have had to use "fragrance free" items or have sensitive skin will enjoy these products either unscented or with essential oils for aroma and therapeutic value. You will find that our products generally contain no added color, and if used are natural or food grade only. Be sure to read the ingredients list and visit our reference desk for more information about ingredient properties.

For some products, synthetic preservatives if used, are food grade and used only as necessary for consumer safety and to retard bacteria.   In addition, because many of our products use no preservatives, or limited and natural preservatives, body care items should be used  in a reasonable amount of time. You will obtain the maximum aromatherapeutic and botanical benefits by using these products and not letting them sit on the shelf year after year. Use and enjoy!
